We've recently introduced a new X-ray machine and process which will X-ray and filter garments when it detects foreign objects that shouldn't go through the laundry. Once the new system detects an object that shouldn't go through the process, the garment will be separated from the rest of the laundry garments so that the item can be removed before it is returned to the wash.
Marker pens, drill bits, coins and glasses in left in pockets are just some of the common culprits, which can degrade and destroy garments in the wash.
The new system will be significantly more efficient that the old process and will speed up the whole laundry process and keep garment in good condition for longer.
