As many of you will know, the ongoing effects of COVID-19 on the global supply chain continue to be felt to this day with manufacturing and shipping still being badly impacted. Despite our success in managing COVID-19, New Zealand is not immune to the impact of these disruptions and the effects have also hit the garment supply industry, on which we rely.
We have spoken with a number of our customers in recent months about the issues we’re collectively facing in the short-term in respect to the shortages, particularly for new employees and garment upgrades.
While there is some light of the end of the tunnel with the garment shortages becoming less acute as global vaccines rollout and the global supply chain gets back on its feet, we wanted to assure our customers that we are doing everything we can on our side to get ample stocks of new garments though and we ask for your continued patience as we work through this.
