Pryors Win Joint Apparelmaster Supreme Business of The Year Second Year in a Row

The Pryors Apparelmaster team have recently returned from the 2026 Apparelmaster Annual Conference, held at the Park Hyatt, Auckland, with some incredible news!

For the second year running, Pryors Apparelmaster has been named Joint Winner of the Apparelmaster Supreme Business of the Year Award. To win this honour once is special, and to do it two years in a row is something we're enormously proud of as a team.

Business of the Year Award

The Business of the Year Award is the one award that every branch works towards all year. The Supreme Award announcement is the big finale of the night and represents excellence across leadership, customer service, innovation, culture, systems, teamwork, and the relentless pursuit of high standards.

In a remarkable repeat of last year, the top two Apparelmaster branches could not be separated, both achieving an extraordinary audit score of 99.61%. We're proud to share the award with our good friends at Preens Apparelmaster, Dunedin, who reached this honour for the first time after more than 100 years in business!

A win like this doesn't happen by accident. It's built on strong leadership, great people, attention to detail, and a commitment to improving year after year. This award belongs to every member of the Pryors team and reflects the pride and high standards everyone brings to work each and every day.

Held from 13 to 17 May at the stunning Park Hyatt in Auckland's Wynyard Quarter, the conference was a fantastic few days, from the Masters Golf Tournament at Muriwai Links and the AGMs at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, to a brilliant business day headlined by economist Cameron Bagrie, and the Gala Awards Dinner in the Park Hyatt's Harbour Room.

We're also very proud to report that the silent auction in support of the Life Education Trust raised an incredible $22,610, going directly towards educating hundreds of young New Zealanders. A huge thank you to everyone who got behind this and showed their generosity on the night.
